Do the maths first
Can your business carry the repayment?
Here's our whole philosophy in one widget. A good business loan isn't the biggest one you can get. It's the one your turnover can repay without squeezing wages, stock or tax.
Pop in the amount, the term and the total cost of finance a lender quotes you (in dollars, not a rate). You'll see the repayment straight away. The full 1-2-3 Loan Repayment Planner adds frequency, turnover and a comfort rating.
No total cost yet? Leave it at zero to see principal only, then add the lender's figure when you have one.

The countdown, minus the guesswork
Three steps, no mystery. Here's what you do, what we do, and what helps at each one.
-
Apply
You: answer a short online enquiry. Amount, purpose, your industry, how long you've traded and whether you own property.
Us: read it properly. No credit check, no auto-reject robot.
Helps: honest, accurate answers. A guess at turnover sends us down the wrong path.
-
Chat with one of our experts
You: talk through the why, the how much and the how soon.
Us: work out what's realistic, which kind of loan fits, and exactly which documents are worth gathering.
Helps: knowing your average monthly deposits and any tax or credit hiccups up front.
-
See funds in your business bank account
You: send the documents, review the offer and sign when you're happy.
Us: keep the lender moving. Once the loan is approved and settled, the money is paid out.
Helps: quick replies to document requests. Most delays hide in the inbox.
Fact or flop?
Business loan myths, buzzed
Six things owners tell us they believed before step 2. Some survive. Most don't.
"You need perfect credit to get a business loan."
Credit matters, but lenders also weigh security, cash flow and the story behind a black mark. Past issues are looked at case by case.
"Asking about a loan dings your credit score."
Not with us. Step 1 has no credit check. That only happens when you choose to apply.
"The cheapest-looking rate is the cheapest loan."
Fees, term and repayment style can flip the result. Compare the total cost of finance in dollars, not the headline.
"Your repayments should fit your turnover, not your hopes."
Size the loan on the money you reliably bank each month. Our planner shows how hard a repayment leans on turnover.
"Property can unlock a bigger business loan."
Residential or commercial property security opens loans from $20,000 up to $5,000,000, including second mortgages and caveat loans.
"Applying to lots of lenders at once boosts your odds."
A pile of credit enquiries can look like desperation. One well-matched application is the smarter play.
Am I loan-ready?
Eight yes-or-no questions. About a minute. You'll land on Ready, Nearly or Get set, with a checklist for anything missing.
Your trade, your loan
Business loans that speak your industry
A café banks money differently to a builder. A farm's year looks nothing like an online store's. Lenders know it, and so do we.

Questions owners ask before step 1
Straight answers, no fine-print dodging. More on the full FAQ page, or ask the expert on your call.
Ask us directly →Does enquiring with 123 Business Loans affect my credit score?
No. Step 1 is a 60-second enquiry with no credit check. A credit check only comes up later, once you've chatted with an expert, seen your options and decided to go ahead with an application.
How much can my business borrow?
Property-secured business loans run from $20,000 to $5,000,000 against residential or commercial property. Unsecured, cash-flow and line-of-credit options for trading businesses are typically $5,000 to $500,000, sized on your turnover and bank statements. The right amount is the one your cash flow can carry comfortably.
Do you publish interest rates?
No. Every business loan is priced on the business's own situation: security, trading history, credit, amount and term. Instead of a headline rate, ask for the total cost of finance in dollars and run it through our repayment planner.
Will my details be sent to lots of lenders?
No spray-and-pray here. One of our experts reads your enquiry, talks it through with you and matches you on purpose. Your details are not blasted out to a list of lenders to see who bites.
Can I get a business loan with bad credit or an ATO debt?
Often, yes. Past credit issues and ATO debt are considered case by case. Property security, steady deposits and a clear plan for the debt make a big difference. Tell us the full story on the form so the expert can match you properly first time.
What happens after I apply?
One of our experts calls you, usually during business hours, to understand the purpose, amount, timing and your business. If there's a fit, you'll get a clear list of what's needed. Once a lender approves the loan and the documents are signed, the funds are paid into your business bank account.
Can I use a business loan for anything?
Business loans are for business purposes only: stock, equipment, wages, tax, fit-outs, buying a business, bridging a gap or growing. They can't be used for personal spending like a family holiday or a private car.
Do I need a business plan or financial statements?
It depends on the loan. Smaller unsecured loans are usually assessed on bank statements and turnover. Larger or property-secured loans may need tax returns, BAS, financial statements or an exit plan. Our expert tells you exactly what your situation needs before you gather anything.
